About Philips H8506 Over-Ear Wireless Headphones
83% found the battery long-lasting, however 17% experienced drains
The battery life of the headphones is 12 to 16 hours.
I have to take them off for about 30 minutes before I can listen to them comfortably again.
The battery life is not as advertised. It's marketed as 25 hours with ANC enabled but I only get half of that.
80% appreciated the comfort and fit
The headphones are a bit heavier than others but quite comfortable on my head. I can watch a movie for a couple of hours without any discomfort or warmth in my ears.
The headphones are padded, lightweight, and have an over-ear design that provides nice comfort and a perfect fit.
The headphones extend more than any other I've tried, so my head doesn't end up in pain from the headband after an hour.
The soft ear cushions are comfortable and fit over my ears properly, so they don't cause any aching after long listening sessions.
75% found it easy to connect
I have tried many Bluetooth headphones and found Jabra Elite 85H to be the best in terms of connectivity.
74% admired the microphone quality, nevertheless, 26% encountered glitches
I noticed that the sound is not well insulated and others can hear what I am listening to.
The microphone works fairly well but produces slightly harsh and shrill noise.
93% were satisfied with the noise cancellation, but 7% found it insufficient
I was amazed at the noise cancelling function. With no music playing, it was dead quiet.
The noise cancellation on these headphones is better than on most similar ones I own. The app also offers different levels of noise control to choose from.
With the ANC turned on, I can mostly drown out a droning high-volume fan and music at a low volume. The fan is completely drowned out by the ANC.
The noise cancellation is fine, but not particularly notable.

83% highlighted the portability, although 17% found it cumbersome
My headphone's carrying footprint is not as compact as other top travel-focused headphones and it is not designed for mobility.
79% liked the sound quality, yet 21% noticed distortions
Sound quality is important to me and I have many earbuds, earphones, amps, and dacs. I stream HD and have a hobby of fidelity. I have tried many things and know that Bluetooth does not play along. I picked up a BTR3 and was impressed, but in the end the cable sucked. I tried APTx HD and was not expecting the black hole of ANC. I needed sound quality however, and using my FiiO BTA30 and Amazon HD I got good enough sound. The headphone build is sturdy, a bit heavy but battery life makes up for that. Side controls are annoying but oh well. I get a decent amount of my love fidelity and added her sisters portability and longevity. I can party with them for convenience and when needed I put back on my real music makers with the wire.
The headphones have an excellent app for fine tuning and deliver on sound quality.
The headphones have better than average sound quality.
The sound quality is good, but it becomes jarring when shifted to noise-canceling mode.
