About EF ECOFLOW Portable Power Station DELTA 2, 1024Wh LiFePO4 (LFP) Battery
Overall Feedback:
69% positive
69% liked the sturdy construction, but 31% found it flimsy
The power station is fairly small and portable, making it easy for me to put it on a seat in my car and take it on a trip if needed. I can lift and move it around easily as it doesn't have a larger battery like many other power stations with 1800 watt outputs or larger.
The design and build quality of our product is good, except for the solar panel which gets too hot to touch.
78% liked the fuel efficiency
I find the power station portable enough for a trip and it compares favorably to other power stations with larger batteries that can be difficult to move around.
The charge time is awesome. It takes around an hour off my Honda 2K watt generator to give me around 8-10 hours of power for various appliances.
71% found maintenance straightforward, but 29% faced complications
The power station has a built-in system to detect power outages and function as a UPS system, which adds convenience and peace of mind.
I contacted support when the generator kept draining. They advised me to deplete it completely for three cycles to sustain it at 100%. Going through the cycles fixed the issue.
90% were satisfied with the quiet operation, but 10% were bothered
When charging from a wall A/C outlet and setting the charge speed to 1200w, the fan noise level is not bad at all.
I prefer the power station's noise over the inconvenience of a power outage.
When I use the generator under high load demands or fast charging, it is noisy.
As soon as I plugged in the generator, it started making loud fans.
80% found it easy to transport, but 20% found it bulky
The outdoor-generator is portable.
The tall narrow profile and flat top make packing around it much easier.
The unit is similar to other devices of this class in terms of portability, but it is heavy.
70% appreciated the high power output
I swapped from a Jackery Explorer 1000 Pro to this unit for the increased power output and I have been very happy with it.
The battery has great output and never feels like it's struggling to keep up. I haven't found anything that I'm restricted from powering off this battery.
83% appreciated the long runtime, but 17% found it limited
I tested the power station by running my laptop, docking station, and 49 inch wide screen monitor off it and got around 7ish hours of run time, which is pretty good considering the wide screen monitor is not power friendly.
Based on our test, the unit will run for 10-13 hours depending on the usage of computer and monitors.
I tested the Delta 2 by running 2 laptops, 2 32" widescreen monitors, LED lights, router/AP and network switch for 9 hours and it was down to roughly 50% battery capacity.
After the unit goes below 50%, it will be at 20-30% within an hour.
83% found it easy to start up, but 17% experienced difficulties
Setting up the generator was easy and the interface is straightforward for monitoring battery levels and other essential information.
The app provides an easy way to update the firmware on my device and allows me to access various user controllable settings such as charging speed, turning X-boost on/off, and more.
During the last blackout, I was able to keep my fridge, phone, and a few lights on for hours without any issues.
I have used the product flawlessly for operating battery chargers, jumpers, tools, heaters, lights, pumps, and fans in remote locations.
I noticed that the unit shuts down after 15 minutes of pulling 1.42kw load due to overheating. It is a dead unit for hours and won't charge, cooling fans won't run. It showed 40% battery power.
After pulling a 1.42kw load for 15 minutes, my unit overheats and shuts down. It won't charge, the cooling fans won't run, and it remains dead for hours despite showing 40% battery power.
78% found it resistant to various weather conditions, but 22% experienced issues
Two units failed simultaneously in high humidity, but they started functioning fine after bringing them inside. It is suggested that the unit may fail in high humidity if planning to use it for running a fan near the Gulf Coast while camping.
The power station is fairly small and portable, making it easy for me to put it on a seat in my car and take it on a trip if needed. I can lift and move it around easily as it doesn't have a larger battery like many other power stations with 1800 watt outputs or larger.
I find the build quality of the generator excellent and it is easy to carry with the 2 built-in handles.
