I used the generator for 10 days during high wind storms and hot weather to run the AC system and keep the house cool.
I am happy with the generator as it ran for over 120 hours straight, proving its weather-resistance and ability to withstand long hours of usage.

I found that the generator has a decent runtime of up to 10 hours or more on a single tank of gas under medium load.
I experienced 10-14 hours of run time per 8 gallon fuel tank and 6-8 hours of propane.
I was told that the 10 hr run time on 8.3 g presumes an idle capability under minimal load. However, customer support states that idle down only occurs under 'heavy load' and we should expect 6-8 hr run time on full tank under both no load or heavy load.

The generator has reliably powered multiple 2000 to 4000 watt professional power amplifiers.
My generator's wattage and 50amp 240V output are sufficient to power my 1500 sq ft house, including the 2.5 ton AC unit, computers, tv, stereo, refrigerator and every light in the house.
Portable generators don't come in high output voltages, but 4000 is enough for heat, fridge and a couple of lights.
My old 5500 watt generator performed better than this generator.

My experience with fuel consumption has been different from what I read in a comment. Over the last 5 days, I have averaged only 5-6 gallons of gas in a 12-hour period, even with high nighttime usage, several baths, and temperatures in the 20s. The control board has many options and presets and is easy to use.
I recommend using premium gas without ethanol to avoid fouling up the carb and plugs.
I have bought 15-5 gallon gas cans which should keep me running full blast for 72 hours or more before I need to get to a gas station to start refilling my cans.
The generator is fuel efficient and lasts for about 10 hours on a full tank at half-wattage usage.
