The thermometer is accurate and consistent. Successive readings have been the same and when I drank cold water to make sure it wasn't stuck, the reading was down half a degree.
I find the thermometer to be pretty spot-on, with consistent results on the same subject. I am quite comfortable with its accuracy, give or take 0.2 degree or so.
