I only want to view while driving in HD, so the lack of GPS in the dash cam does not matter to me.

Motion detection works to a point, with an area of detection directly in front of the car. At further distances, nothing is recorded.

The dashcam has strong night vision capabilities and can capture large areas despite its small size.
I haven't used the night time vision in the camera yet, so I can't review that part of the device. But if the picture is as clear as the day time, I'm sure it will hold up just fine.
I would not recommend using the camera for night driving as it does not have night vision.
I am not able to read car plate numbers at night, indicating that the camera's night vision feature is not up to the mark.

The image and audio quality is excellent.
The picture and video quality is very good. I can even see the street name sign depending on which lane I am driving in.
The picture is very clear and suction works great.
The camera is easy to use with very good video quality.
