About DinoFire Presentation Clicker Wireless Presenter Remote Clicker for PowerPoint Presentation Remote
78% praised for its long-lasting battery life, but 22% experienced frequent draining
The battery life is good. I used it for about two weeks and did two two-hour presentations, and it hasn't died yet.
The remote uses a single 3A battery just like my last one and came with a micro usb which was smaller than my last one.
I noticed that the laser pointer stopped working after just a day.
85% liked its compatibility with multiple devices, while 15% experienced compatibility issues
Setting up was easy once I figured out which way to put the AAA battery. Linux detected the USB receiver automatically and treated it as a limited keyboard.
The blackout button works fine on Adobe, Google Chrome (as a PDF display), and Google Slides, but not with my usual PDF reader (Sumatra).
80% praised for its solid construction, but 20% noticed it was flimsy
I am hard on things and was lucky that the product held up to my abuse as long as it did.
The remote's construction is lacking compared to the Logitech remote, but it's understandable given the price difference.
I suggest adding a little groove in the back of the Bluetooth receiver to improve its grasp and pull-out in future designs.
The only minor issue I faced was with the computer fob storage.
87% liked the comfortable design, while 13% found it awkward to hold
All five buttons work great in LibreOffice.
To move the slides forward and backward, I use the left and right buttons.
I am dissatisfied with the button layout of the remote. The forward and backward buttons are placed on the edge, making it inconvenient to click them while holding the remote. I had to adapt by holding the remote at an angle to make the forward button easier to click, but this makes it difficult to go back. The remote should have been designed with an up-down layout like Logitech or with a smaller central laser button to make the forward and backward buttons closer to the center and easier to click.
The storage of the computer fob is tight and difficult to remove from the battery compartment if I have big hands. I wish it were stored elsewhere to avoid opening and closing the battery cover, which increases the opportunity to break the cover clasps.
82% appreciated the accurate laser pointer
Even though I don't use it, the laser pointer works fine.
86% found it easy to carry around
I found the setup process easy once I figured out which way to put the AAA battery.
84% appreciated the reliable signal strength
I used the remote for about two weeks and did 2 two hour presentations without any issues.
I am satisfied with the product. It is excellent for instructors who don't want to touch the keyboard.
81% liked the convenient volume controls, but 19% found them unresponsive
I am dissatisfied with the button layout of the remote, particularly the placement of the forward and backward buttons on the edge, which makes it inconvenient to click them while holding the remote.
