About HP DeskJet 4255e Wireless All-in-One Color Inkjet Printer
Overall Feedback:
75% positive
73% appreciated the multiple connectivity options, though 27% found them limited
The printer is convenient with Wi-Fi accessibility and easy to use HP app compatibility. It also has double scanning/copying modes with both face down glass option and slide through scanning and printing option.
I had to read the instructions a few times to connect the printer with my laptop, phone, and tablet, but I was able to do it without any problems.
The printer is WiFi only and does not have an HDMI connection. Additionally, the HP+ app is required to use it.
72% praised the crisp and clear display, while 28% found it lacked brightness
The DeskJet 4155e delivers crisp and clear print quality for both text documents and graphics.
Although it is adequate for basic home printing, the print quality is not up to the standard of my old printer.
The print quality is not great and I'm not sure if it's because I was low on ink from the beginning.
70% appreciated the sturdy and durable build, though 30% found it flimsy
I warn that the device can easily break if not handled carefully, indicating its construction is not durable enough.
76% appreciated the ergonomic design for comfort, though 24% found it uncomfortable
The paper slides in vertically and flops over, ruining it if left in the printer slot. This is a design flaw and an ergonomic issue, as the older version had paper lie flat.
The printer doesn't have a piece of plastic to catch papers, causing them to fly all over the room when printing.
82% loved the responsive and quiet keyboard, but 18% found it unresponsive
Office-electronics have great quality at a lower price range.
The keyboard quality is poor and not suitable for professional use or printing barcodes, as scan codes often dont work on the first try.
I want to warn you about the ink subscription. It restricts you to use only HP ink cartridges. Be aware of the fine print and decide if you want to be locked into original HP cartridges or get cheaper ink refills in the future.
85% liked the quiet operation, but 15% found it noisy
When I am upstairs, the sudden noise produced by the device freaks out the cat.
The print quality is not crisp and it is not like my old, now broken printer delivered.
The printer is extremely loud, which is the worst part of my experience.
72% loved the fast and efficient performance
For my needs, this printer delivers a solid performance and gets the job done efficiently, even though it may not be perfect.
The printer is convenient with Wi-Fi accessibility and easy to use HP app compatibility. It also has double scanning/copying modes with both face down glass option and slide through scanning and printing option.
I have complained that the ink cartridge is empty after printing less than 100 pages, which is not as advertised.
