I cleaned the light sensor using a small can of compressed air and now it is functioning fine.
When I take the sensor out of one outlet and put it into another, the night light stops working.
Unless the light in the room is extremely bright and pointing directly at the sensor, it will not shut off.
A motion light would be nice, but most of them are too bright and not adjustable.
