This nail polish remover is much easier to apply and less time-consuming than the DIY foil/cotton application. It also has a tight seal and minimal acetone leakage.
The foil wraps are awesome and easy to use. Soak the cotton pad with acetone, wrap it around your fingertips, and let it soak.
The foil is thinner than tinfoil, making it easier to wrap around my fingertips without feeling like they are ready for the grill.
I found the product very easy to use and it only took me 7 minutes to remove the gel polish.
