The nail polish remover is easy to apply and works really well. It takes only 1-2 minutes to see the gel polish bubbling up and lifting in patches. Everything comes off so easily without applying pressure to scrape.
For thicker gels/poly gel, I apply a couple of layers and then use cuticle oil provided to help lift off the remaining stuff. It's easy to remove.
