If you want the microphone to be super close to you, it can be tricky to use due to the shock mount being big and the mic facing down.

I noticed that the Yeti has glaring flaws in frequency response that are as obvious as a nose on my face.
The joints of the microphone are a challenge when leaning forward, but if used as shown in the product description (leaning backward), there are no issues. Tightening the joint closest to the base does not prevent the whole assembly from leaning forward until it hits the limit. Improvement is needed.

This microphone is extremely sensitive and picks up everything, even with noise gating and the gain set to its lowest. It picks up cars driving by outside and people watching TV in another room with closed windows.
I recommend using a shock mount for the mic as it is extremely sensitive and any vibration on a fixed mount will transfer through it.
I had to make adjustments to the room, surroundings, gain, levels, etc. while using the Yeti mic as it is very sensitive and always had a slight robotic echo to it.
