The stainless steel interior of the mug makes it easy to clean and can be cleaned in the top rack of the dishwasher.
After washing the mug in the dishwasher, I noticed that the bronze film is coming off, indicating that it is not dishwasher compatible.

I am not satisfied with the heat retention of the mug. It gets warm within minutes. Although I have always loved Stanley products, this one needs upgrading.
