This mounting tape is very durable and sticks well to the surface. Once it is put down, it will be a struggle to get it off, so make sure you have the right position before you commit, or you will damage whatever you are working on.
I have used this tape for years and found it durable. It's important to keep it in a zip-lock or similar bag to prevent adhesive out-gassing. I finished the roll I purchased in August 2006.
