I think this mortar and pestle is so nice that I want to put it on my desk. It is seriously beautiful and feels very solid on both pieces. It reminds me of modern art and I cannot overstate how good it looks and feels.

I love the plastic top of the mortar-pestle and it is super easy to clean.
Despite the sticking issue, I find the mortar-pestle easy to clean. I simply wipe the inside with a wet paper towel and wash it like any other kitchen device.

I found the mortar-pestle surprisingly efficient for my needs, especially for breaking down small, hard, pebbly pieces of rock and mineral, and sometimes plants, to pulverize into powder. Grinding works better than brute force or hammering the larger pieces, and I was able to pulverize it into a very fine powder relatively fast, just by grinding the pestle around.
