I love this monocular because it is easier to hold steady with two hands and I can view an object with both eyes open.
Reading the numbers off a street sign at 300 yards is no challenge with the scope providing clarity in both day and night settings.
Around dusk, the monocular becomes hazy and phases out.

I find the focus dial on top of the monocular much easier to control with a single hand compared to other models with the focus dial on the eye sight, which requires both hands.

I prefer using binoculars for comfort and depth perception, but carrying binoculars of equal power would be at least twice the size and weight, and would be more awkward to carry with the monopod attached. This shows that I have used the monocular and have compared it with binoculars in terms of weight and size.
The monocular is lighter than binoculars and can be easily carried by slipping it into a pocket.
