  • What users have to say about Bushnell Legend Ultra HD Monocular, Black

I ordered the Legend Ultra HD Monocular, Black, Pankoo 40X60 Monocular Telescope, the Roxant Wide View Monocular Telescope - High Definition BAK4 Spotting Scope, and the Gosky 12x55 High Definition Monocular Telescope.

I bought this for my Marine at Christmas so he could use monoculars for the first time.

It was obvious to me that this was the winner when I looked at the other monoculars, they all had issues ranging from chromatic aberration to the glass within the monocular itself.

Excellent product quality in terms of resolution, field of view, and steadiness for holding and weight, and it's very good value for money.

I am not an expert on optics but this is a nice piece of gear and I like to use it when I practice a bit with it.

    FAQ

    Q:

Does that mean it's going from 1x to 10x magnification or 10x to 1x?

    A:

The focus dial monocular has a very crisp/clear image, it is straight 10 power.

    Q:

Does the monocular have a mil-hash reticle?

    A:

Only the Tan Bushnell Legend Ultra HD Monocle has a retirement age.

    Q:

Does this device show a distance?

    A:

Since I recently purchased a Sig Sauer Kilo 1000 range finder I often leave the Bushnell in the car, you may consider a range finder with with a 5x or 6x image magnification if these would suit your needs.

    Q:

I want to know if someone with a scale can give me the actual weight of the monoc.

    A:

The monocular is just under 13 ounces and comes with a belt clip.

    Q:

I believe it has a picattiny rail on the bottom.

    A:

There is a length of rail that is about 1 inch.
