About VIVO Dual Vertically Stacked Monitor Desk Mount
Overall Feedback:
81% positive
81% praised for its high adjustability, while 19% found it limited
Putting on the smaller panel was easy, but adjusting the 32in was heavy and difficult.
I had to use spacers and screws from my 'extras' box to make the screens even when doing a top tilted down look as the top mounts do not include long enough spacers or screws.
77% liked the universal compatibility, but 23% experienced compatibility issues
I couldn't find many reviews on using this stand with ultrawide monitors or an Alienware AW3418DW, so I decided to share my opinion.
I found putting the monitors on to be varying. It was easy to put the smaller panel on but adjusting the 32in monitor up and down was difficult due to its weight.
I have complained that the thread on the bottom post is not compatible with the coupling.
The thread on the bottom post is not compatible with the coupling.
I have noticed that the bottom bar does not fit into the connector/coupler, while the top bar fits perfectly and screws in fully.
71% liked the sleek and modern design, but 29% found it didn't match their office decor
The product has a horrible design. I had to use zip ties to position my displays for use. Additionally, there is no tightening of the forward/back tilt of the monitors, causing them to flop forward.
The stand has some wiggle and give and doesn't feel very sturdy.
The mount and structure are sturdy, but the hinges are poorly designed.
77% found the installation process easy, while 23% encountered difficulties
The installation process was very easy compared to the previous mount. All screws went in smoothly and tightening brackets gave little struggle.
If you want something more flexible and easy to set up and adjust vertically, it might be worth spending more on something else.
I suggest attaching the bracket first and then sliding it onto the pole for easier installation, especially for a one man project. The instructions provided are not clear and I faced difficulty in installing the mounts on the pole first and then attaching the monitor to the mount.
76% appreciated the ergonomic design for comfort, although 24% found it didn't quite fit their needs
The curved monitor has a pop-up camera and is placed at the top, while the other is at the bottom.
I need a tiny monitor up top for the right ergo.
The monitor mount always slumps as it does not hold the monitor vertically, which is a bad design feature.
My desk has a metal framework around the edge of the bottom, which prevents the monitor stand from being used as it requires a completely flat surface.
No matter how much I tightened the nut for the vertical axis, the monitor kept flopping forward.
84% appreciated the space-saving design, although 16% found it didn't quite fit their desk layout
The monitor mount always slumps as it does not hold the monitor vertically.
The coupler interferes with the adjustment of the monitor, making it useless. This indicates that the space-saving design of the monitor stand is not effective.
80% liked the sturdy and stable design, but 20% experienced wobbling
I am unsure if I did the C-Vice correctly or if it doesn't work with my desk. I will wait to see if it is stable over time.
The monitor arm cannot hold a 32in monitor on top, so I suggest pairing it with something just as heavy or heavier. I tightened the bolt as much as I could, but the monitor still drags it down. I used a ziptie to hold it in place.
The mount and structure of my monitor stand are sturdy, but the hinges are poorly engineered. I had to tighten the nut for the vertical axis multiple times, but the monitor kept flopping forward.
The monitor mount always slumps and can be annoying. It may even lead to breakage if tightened too much.
86% praised for its high weight capacity
Both monitors are within the acceptable weight limit, indicating that the product has a sufficient weight capacity for my monitors.
I noticed that the bolt didn't totally give up while tilting the screen downwards at the speed of light.
The bolt didn't give up while tilting the screen downwards at the speed of light.
I need at least 3 more inches of vertical travel for the monitor stand.
