About HUANUO Single Monitor Mount for 1332 Screens up to 22 lbs
Overall Feedback:
92% positive
91% praised for its high adjustability, while 9% found it limited
The adjuster (gas spring) is located in a difficult place and doesn't work despite multiple attempts to adjust it.
The product's quality is poor. I had to use a locking wrench to crank it and thread the bolt into the arm. Then, I threaded the nut and clamp onto the bolt through the desk, leaving it loose. After assembling it, I attached locking pliers to the bottom and cranked it until the bolt threaded all the way into the arm. Unfortunately, the threads are now crushed, and the nut cannot be removed. Better quality threads in the female socket could have avoided this issue.
89% liked the universal compatibility
I have experience with monitor arms and assembled this one myself.
90% liked the sleek and modern design, but 10% found it didn't match their office decor
I can adjust my landscape display to more positions with this unit than I could with the pedestal base.
The base is well designed and distributes the clamping force over a large area.
I suggest that the monitor arm should have more up/down motion, like if the bottom segment could move on a piston like the top joint.
I find the design bulkier than expected and the materials used poor in quality.
92% found the installation process easy
This monitor arm allows me to adjust my landscape display to more positions than I could with the pedestal base. I can easily bring it forward or back according to need, and can now raise it high enough to use while standing. It also simplifies cleaning the back of my desk, which is against a wall and had tended to get neglected. And without the pedestal in the way, I now have access to additional desk space.
89% appreciated the ergonomic design for comfort, although 11% found it didn't quite fit their needs
I like having the arm mounted to one side of the desk, indicating my positive sentiment towards the ergonomic design of the monitor-arm.
I can adjust my landscape display to more positions with this monitor arm than I could with the pedestal base. I can easily bring it forward or back according to need, and now I can raise it high enough to use while standing.
I suggest that the monitor arm needs more up/down motion, like the top joint, indicating a lack of ergonomic design.
90% liked the sturdy and stable design
After mounting the monitor to the arm and the arm to the desk, everything feels very solid with no slop or play in the arm.
87% praised for its high weight capacity, while 13% were concerned about its limitations
The monitor stand is rated for 20lbs, but my monitor is only 16.5lbs. I think it should be fine with a lighter monitor.
For full range of motion, the monitor arms require at least six inches to a foot of wiggle room.
