I still ended up with quite a few bubbles, but I was able to fix it by lifting the edge of the glass like they did in the video.
During installation, I had to meticulously remove a few bubbles which took some time and patience to lift and push out.
It is impossible for me to apply the screen protector without leaving bubbles and a strange appearance on the screen.
On my first try, there were a lot of bubbles which caused issues with phone response.
