The saw makes fitting the cut pieces perfect for both miter and compound miter cuts.
The electric brake is excellent and stops the blade in less than a second, increasing productivity.
The laser line adjustment on the saw is extremely crude and doesn't have enough range to get it perfect, which is a drawback.
77% liked the smooth angle adjustments, but 23% found them tricky
The tool is perfect for cutting both wood and metal tile trim. It makes fitting the cut pieces perfect and I had no issues with adjusting the angles in either plane.
There's not much left to ask from a miter saw.
I find that the laser line adjustment is not precise enough and lacks the range to achieve perfection.
84% appreciated the long-lasting blade
The blade is a dream to work with and leaves the cut surface ready for finishing.
The blade that came with my miter saw is perfect for cutting all my trim moldings.
I can cut both wood and metal tile trim with this tool, making fitting the cut pieces perfect.
83% found it easy to operate
I love the laser light cutting line because it eliminates any uncertainty about where the blade will cut.
This saw is great for outdoor decking and using a corded saw is very annoying due to the lack of accessible outlets. With the battery power and a good rolling stand, I can easily wheel it where I need it and get to work without tracking sawdust, bugs, etc.
84% appreciated its powerful motor, though 16% experienced motor overload
I compared the miter saw to a high-performance car, it is powerful and fast.
I own a 10 inch compound and a 12 inch sliding compound saw, but they are often more than I need.
I was initially concerned about the adjustability of the miter saw, but after messing around with the bevel and miter settings and checking it with my square, I found that it was in line, right out of the box. I also messed with adjustments through my first few scrap cuts, but ultimately I could trust the angle settings.
