I have read reviews about this machine being loud, but I did not find it loud. I put a decibel meter next to it to get an actual reading. The decibel meter registered 52 decibels when I was standing right next to it, which is lower than an average conversation (59-62db). Standing at about 10 feet away, it registered at 41db, barely audible.
