Overall Feedback:
93% positive
91% praised the storage capacity, while 9% found it limited
I bought a microSD card to store music for my Digital Audio Player and it has worked fine for several months, taking over 400GB of songs without any issues.
I bought the 256GB model for extra storage on my Nintendo Switch.
The micro SD card has a low price per GB and is large.
The price for this microSD card with these capacity/speeds is good.
The card has a maximum storage capacity of 62.53 GB.
I purchased a 256GB micro SD card for my Samsung S20 Ultra to record 4k 60fps on Microsd card. However, after inserting it into my phone, I received a pop-up message stating that due to the slow speed of the sd card, 4k 60fps will be stored on internal storage. I also downloaded 2 apps to test the speed of my new micro center SD card, and the results were disappointing.
When I checked the storage capacity on my computer, the SD card only had about 30 GB, despite saying 64 GB on it. It's recommended to double-check the advertised storage capacity before purchasing.
92% appreciated the wide compatibility, though 8% had issues
I bought a micro SD card for my newly acquired DJI Mini 1 drone.
The micro SD card works fine with my DJI Mini2 drone and is cheaper.
I tested the microSD card with various devices including DJI Mavic Air 2, Eachine EV800Dm FPV goggle, Car dash cam, Action Camera, and Nintendo Switch, and none of them had any issues.
My DJI magic mini is not compatible with the micro SD card.
I bought a U3 rated micro sd card for my dash cam but it didn't work. I had to return it and buy another name brand U3 micro sd card that worked with my dash cam.
90% liked the read and write speeds, while 10% didn't like
I was pleasantly surprised with the performance of Silicon Power 256 Gb micro SD card. During the test, I got 109/124 MBs speed.
My card surpassed its specifications with specific information on read and write speed.
The Microcenter card manufactured by Inland bursts up to 60 MB/s for a few seconds before dropping down to a lower write speed and repeating this for an average large file speed closer to 30.
the micro SD card reaches close to the A1 standard random read speeds of 1500 IOPS and write speeds of 500. However, it sometimes lingers on a few KB/s while transferring smaller files.
Write speeds are consistently in the 30 to 35 MB/s range and read speeds are in the 70s MP/s.
I noticed that the sequence write speed is only half of what is claimed.
When writing large amounts of data, the write speed drops to about 20MB/sec, which is far below the 80MB/sec rating listed in the product description.

I have used this 256gb micro SD card myself and faced no lag or slowdown while using it as internal storage. It is performing better than the SanDisk one that was previously in there. I am impressed with its performance.
I can fit more games in the memory card without needing to uninstall and reinstall.
