About Timex Unisex Weekender 38mm Watch
Overall Feedback:
71% positive
84% found it waterproof, but 16% weren't satisfied
This watch is only intended for water exposure during light rain and occasional handwashing, as industry designations for water resistance are misleading.
I found that the watch claims to be water resistant up to 30M, but the seal is weak and I got fogging/condensation inside the watch while washing hands. This indicates that the watch is not waterproof as claimed.
I took the watch swimming in a lake and water got under the glass. The light stopped working and the watch would unpredictably stop running, then start again, then quit again.
80% appreciated the high-quality strap, but 20% found it wore out quickly
The strap quality is poor as it started tearing and stretching after a day of use. The holes made were not sealed properly.
The strap quality is very cheap and it has already started fraying after a couple of days of wear.
The leather strap is very thin and of extremely poor quality.
After a few months, the strap quality of this watch has begun to discolor and lose shape.
81% liked the easy-to-read display, but 19% found it hard to read in low light
The brown/black version of the watch is difficult to read depending on the light, sun, room, or angle of reflection.
79% found it durable , but 21% experienced issues with durability
I wore the watch while wakeboarding, surfing, and submerging it every day for 3 months. I definitely have not been gentle with it, but it still works.
I have used the watch for over 40 days of camping in the last 6 months and it is still going strong.
After wearing the watch for 2 weeks, it has not scratched, fallen apart, or stopped working, indicating good durability.
The band is of poor quality and will wear out the holes where the prong goes through. I would expect to get at least two years before needing to replace it with daily use.
I have personally faced durability issues with the watch as the glass scratches easily.
76% liked the stylish design
The face of my watch commands attention with its simple design and silver outline.
The watch has a stylish design with an elegant typeface and well-made, comfortable wristband that is easy to adjust.
78% found it comfortable to wear
I find the strap of the watch comfortable and prefer the web/cloth material over other straps.
The Timex Weekender is one of the most comfortable watches I have ever worn.
I find this watch to be the most comfortable one I have ever worn. Unlike leather or metal linked watches, this one is made of nylon and hardly bothers me throughout the day.
84% appreciated the long battery life, but 16% reported frequent battery changes
My watch stopped working after 3 months of purchase. It would slow down and then stop altogether.
I often notice that my watch glows unintentionally, which drains the battery quickly.
This watch is only intended for water exposure during light rain and occasional handwashing, as industry designations for water resistance are misleading.
This watch is thin and lightweight, unlike most digital men's watches which are too heavy and thick.
