I dropped my sunglasses from a height of about 5 feet and the left lens chipped. When I tripped and fell, the lens popped out of the frame and shattered. It seems that the hinges and overall construction quality of the sunglasses are not strong enough to withstand such impacts. Based on my experience, I would say that the sunglasses are not durable enough.

I found that the sunglasses fit my face perfectly with the integral nose pad style and straight paddle design being a plus for my particular head shape and size. The paddles fit my face with just enough grip to retain them in place when moving about, without stressing the hinges. The wrap around design allows for minimum of material needed adding to lightness and efficient transient light protection.
