These sandals are perfect for me because of my ongoing ingrown toenail issue. I wonder if there is such a thing as a hiking sandal... They are perfect.

The velcro straps have a cutout thread that prevents them from tightening beyond the notch, causing the foot to slip out of the sandal.

I wore them all day without socks and only felt a little soreness on the bottom of my foot in the later evening. I think it's because I don't wear sandals often, especially without socks.
