About Etnies Men's Kingpin Skateboarding Shoe
Overall Feedback:
66% positive
83% found the ankle support to be excellent, but 17% experienced ankle rolls
After breaking them in, I find the shoes comfortable and they keep my feet securely in place. Good socks are recommended until they are broken in.
Width is not a problem.
After a few weeks, the fabric around the opening has already worn down, the tongue doesn't have a hole to thread the lace through causing it to move, and the inside of the sole is already showing considerable wear.
70% found them extremely comfortable
I found the shoes to be cushy, comfortable, and easy to wear all day.
The shoes are comfortable and keep my feet securely in place. They are muted enough to wear in the office without looking like trainers. I compared them with other shoes like Faders or Lo-cuts.
I find skate shoes more comfortable than regular sneakers, especially since I am on my feet all day and walk 10-12 miles in a day.
67% loved the shock absorption and cushioning, but 33% felt too much impact
The sole is comfortably cushioned and the tongue and ankle are well padded.
I found the shoes to be well-cushioned, which is rare in skate shoes today.
I wanted a soft, flexible, and comfortable shoe, but the shoe I received was not like that.
66% praised their durability and wear resistance, though 34% noticed signs of wear quickly
I have worn these shoes in many situations and they have held up pretty well.
The shoes have held up nicely in the few months I have used them, including being caught in a shower a few times.
After a month of daily wear, my shoes are already showing liner wear and I expect the inner liner to fail in the heel area before the outers.
My main issue with the shoe is that the bottom part collapses from the sole and pokes out.
My experience with the shoes has been disappointing as the quality has decreased over time. The insole looks basic and the soles don't last long.
80% liked the excellent grip on the board, but 20% slipped off occasionally
My right little toe feels cramped compared to the left shoe, even after upsizing. This could be a problem with the grip of the shoe.
78% appreciated the sleek and stylish design, but 22% thought they looked too flashy
The shoes are similar in shape and size to old Vans, but they come up a little smaller than usual.
I like the color, style, size and price of the shoes. However, I am not happy with the thread loss despite using it for just a month while sitting at a desk.
I feel more comfortable standing with my feet a bit farther apart - roughly shoulder width, which I really appreciate compared to Nike SBs.
