The leather straps feel great on my feet and don't cause blisters, even when new. The rubber sole provides cushioning and the built-in arch support reduces foot fatigue.
The bottoms of these sandals are foam and tend to get cut up easily. They also get slick on wet surfaces and are not ideal for pools or even walking around your garden if you planned on these for more of tough wear and tear. I even had a wood chip stab into them and into the bottom of my foot. The company should add a rubber bottom to these sandals.
