This hat is different from other Gatsby hats as it does not have elastic to fit snugly on the head. It is a bit wider than advertised, but that suits me fine because I have thick long hair to fill out the remaining space. If someone has very short (or thinning/bald) hair, they should get a hat that is slightly smaller than their size, or it will probably fit too loosely.
