I accidentally hit my feet into a sharp metal bar and almost fell. However, my boot got a little cut on the first layer only and it did not touch or hurt my foot.
The boots have molded PU structural support reinforcement elements around the heel cup and ankle.
The boots are not suitable for people with ankle bones as the stiff area with the rivet backs clamps down on them.

I personally tested the boots in deluge rain conditions, stream crossings, ice, and snow and found that they have a waterproof and breathable membrane barrier.

I purchased the boots for my son who needed a waterproof boot for lawn work. He was satisfied with the purchase and said he would buy another pair when needed.
I tested the waterproofing of the shoe by keeping it under running water for 1 second and found that the water started to be absorbed by the texture. I doubt that if I stand under rain for a long time or step in 3-4 inches of water, my feet will still be dry. Thus, it seems that the shoe is not fully waterproof.
One of my shoes' trim came apart in less than 5 months, making it no longer waterproof.
