The shaver starts with good close shaves but quickly dulls. After just a few uses, it takes about 20 passes over each area to get a decent shave.

Replacing the top half of the blade attachment is easy and simple. It can be done by popping off the old top and snapping on the new one.

The replacement head cover only lasted for a week and one of the spring-like tabs designed for easy installation and removal broke off, just like the original.

I clean the head and body of my shaver with water and alcohol after every shave and use the cleaning machine once a month. I also empty the fluid container and refill it with water and alcohol, replacing the stopper after every cleaning to prevent the liquid from evaporating.
If I take care of the shaver heads, they will last for 2 years. The cleaning solution will last for at least a year if I thoroughly rinse the shaver with warm water before cleaning it and put the cap back on the cleaning solution when I am done.
I suggest a specific cleaning process for the foil, which involves water flossing and then putting it in the cleaner.
