About Nordic Lifting Powerlifting Shoes for Heavy Weightlifting
Overall Feedback:
88% positive
85% found them versatile
Squat shoes don't make it easier to lift heavier weight, but they allow me to lift with much better form more effortlessly to facilitate growth.
These shoes are a versatile companion for workouts. I believe power comes from the ground up during chest and arm workouts.
86% appreciated the stability, but 14% weren't satisfied
I have not used the shoes while deadlifting, but they provide more stability in the squat and bench press.
I found that the shoes helped me squat deeper, which was my goal.
The strap across the top of my shoes really locks my foot in place, making me feel super stable while working out.
I feel the sole compress underfoot with moderate weight, but stability has not been compromised.
66% highlighted the slip resistance, but 34% experienced slipping on certain floors
The insoles constantly slip backwards, causing a one-inch gap under my toes and the heel to be up around my Achilles tendon.
During my workout, the insert slips up towards my heel, which is very annoying and I have to stop and fix it multiple times.
85% liked the durable build, but 15% noticed quick wear and tear
For the past 3 years, the shoe has been great, but now it is starting to fall apart from the soles.
After a few months of intense use, the heel of my shoe is coming apart.
The durability of the shoe is not good due to its cheap and unreliable materials.
After moderate use in the gym for two weeks, the inner lining of my shoes came out. Although they had good support and fit, I was disappointed with their durability.
I am maxing my squat at 565 lbs and in one year the wear and tear has been minimal, indicating that the weight of my shoes is not an issue for me while doing heavy squats.
