About Carhartt Men's Insulated System 5 Suede Work Glove
Overall Feedback:
92% positive
90% appreciated the adjustable cuff, but 10% found it difficult to adjust
After loading firewood for 20 minutes, my finger split the leather.
The leather of my gloves already has a hole, indicating that their adjustability is not up to the mark.
86% liked the breathable design, but 14% experienced moisture buildup
The gloves were toasty but not too warm when the temperature was in the 20s.
My leather gloves split in the finger after loading firewood from a wood pile into a wheel barrel for 20 minutes, indicating poor breathability.
I bought these gloves without noticing that they are made of synthetic suede material and after one use, the handle burned right through.
92% liked the stylish design, but 8% found them unattractive
Dickey or Key still make good work clothing.
The gloves are comfortable and warm.
I noticed that the material used in the gloves has been changed to a cheaper option.
98% appreciated the durable construction, though 2% experienced wear and tear
The gloves tore after just one wear.
My gloves did not last for 3 months and the fingers began falling apart to the point of being unwearable.
89% liked the comfortable fit, but 11% found them too loose
I found that the gloves run a little large and are bulky, with the finger length being the main problem. I usually need a large or extra large and got a medium in these. I got the medium because I looked at the pictures and guessed these would be larger than planned. The medium fits me well, but they are actually on the larger end of fitting me, so I may even be able to go a size down for a more snug fit.
92% praised for its exceptional warmth, while 8% found them insufficiently warm
I noticed that the new glove did not feel as warm as the old one.
After just one use, the handle of my glove burned right through, indicating that it did not provide sufficient warmth.
85% appreciated its water-resistant design, but 15% experienced water seepage
The gloves are insulated and match size Large when measured on the outside.
Loading firewood from a wood pile into a wheel barrel for 20 minutes caused the leather in my finger to split.
After using the gloves for one day while splitting firewood, I noticed that the leather broke in two different places, suggesting that they may not be water-resistant.
I have used the gloves to touch snow and ice and my hands did not get wet even after a trip to Laramie, WY in a snowstorm.
