I experienced no slippage and the outsole grip was great.
This shoe is not a running shoe of any type.

I find the shoes to be supportive with good arch support and toe protection based on my personal experience.
I have found that the arch support of these shoes works well and doesn't feel too big, unlike other shoes where it sometimes feels like there is a giant wedge in the arch.
When I tried walking in them, I felt strain on the inside of my feet from top to bottom due to lack of support in the arch and inner foot bed.

I use these shoes for short runs and obstacle courses and my feet and knees love them.

The shoes have a soft but rugged sole for rough surfaces and are very comfortable.
I have taken the shoes on a few 10 mile walks with no complaints and they fit nicely.
I managed to get a good fit with the shoe model by going up just a half size in XL wide, even though it doesn't come in my width size.
I experience pain on the outside tip of my big toes where they get jammed because the inside front edge of the shoe cuts in quickly to the center of the shoe and my big toes are forced into the side of the shoe.

My other New Balance shoes have held up well for the wear and tear I put on them, and these shoes seem durable.

The cushioning of these shoes is not as plush as my ASIC GT 1000s and 2000s, but they are much better than my NB Arishi.
I experienced front foot pain due to the weirdly shaped front of the shoe, which I had never experienced in a new balance shoe.
I found that the original insole lacked arch support and cushioning, leaving me wanting more.
I warn that these shoes are not suitable for those with heel pain as they have no cushioning.
