About Mr. Pen Silver Metal Mechanical Pencils
67% found the pencil weight balanced
The pencil is well weighted and balanced, although a little heavier than expected.
The mechanical pencils have a nice weight, not too heavy, not too light.
When I first opened the package, I felt the weight of the pencils and was excited to use them. They have a nice weight to them and feel like they are pretty high quality.
The pencil has a great weight, not too light but not too heavy and is well balanced.
67% appreciated the refill mechanism, while 33% found it cumbersome
The pencil comes with a good amount of refills, including some colored pencil refills.
I am dissatisfied with the erasers because the metal gets in the way and only a small portion can be used before replacement. The refills are not effective.
I received poor quality lead refills and expressed dissatisfaction.
68% liked the precision for fine writing, whereas 32% didn't
Now my favorite to write with due to the thin precision and sharp lines.
I admire the precision of this mechanical pencil and how it feels great in my hand.
I ordered 0.9 mm pencils but received 0.7 mm instead. This is a significant difference.
This mechanical pencil is not suitable for precise measurements.

67% found the lead smooth, but 33% encountered issues
I sometimes have difficulty gripping the lead with this device and need to tighten the area where the tip is located because it gets loose.
The main issue with this pencil is that the ends of lead can get stuck inside of the metal tip.
68% praised the lead durability, yet 32% found it broke easily
The provided lead is good and should not break if handled gently.
Some colored leads are too soft and leave bold streaks that are hard to erase, while others are too brittle and leave faint marks.
72% liked the grip comfort, whereas 28% found it uncomfortable
I found the metal comfortable to hold with a unique grip unlike any other pencil.
I was concerned that the pencil would be slick and slip around in my hand, but it turned out to be just fine. There is just enough texture on the body to give good grip.
I found the pen comfortable to hold and easy to write and draw with.
The grip could be better. Rubber grips on some others help to prevent slipping.

64% appreciated the clip strength, but 36% found it weak
The clip is quite tight, but it keeps my pencil from popping out of my pocket. It does require a little effort to get the pencil seated.
I have to constantly tighten the point end as it keeps coming loose.
The clip is too tight for me to use.
63% liked the barrel design, but 37% found it unattractive
The pencil's cone head+lead sleeve tip spins off mid-writing every so often, which is a downside.
The leads that come with my pencil are softer than others and the barrel is too big for a Staedtler rotary sharpener.
