I found the 4 inches mattress topper nice and thick, but I sank in more than I expected to, maybe because I had a pillow top bed at the time. If you have a bed with just springs, it would work best for you.
This mattress topper is causing a problem for me as it is 3 to 4 inches shorter than a standard queen size bed. I have never faced this issue with any other type of topper or sheets.
