I have fallen asleep on it a few times and can attest to the unexpected comfort. I also felt pretty refreshed and with no back aches despite being in the exact same position I fell asleep in.
The mattress is really firm and bouncy with nice and soft material, but there is a thin layer of padding between me and the springs.
If you are looking for a hard mattress, this bed will be perfect. Otherwise, avoid it at all cost.
The top is super thin and I feel like sleeping on the spring alone. I recommend a topper for this one.
