About Ventray Essential Ginnie Juicer Compact Small Cold Press Juicer Masticating Slow Juicer
Overall Feedback:
75% positive
88% appreciated the quiet operation
I can make juice whenever I want without disturbing anyone as the juicer operates silently.
89% praised the juice yield, but 11% wanted more output
I was impressed with the juice yield of the juicer. I was able to extract a full cup of juice from 5 medium to small strawberries and a halo.
After passing the pulp back through the grinder for a second round, the volume of my drink was about half.
75% liked the low heat generation
I can explain the difference between centrifugal juicers and masticating juicers in terms of heat generation. Centrifugal juicers generate heat and quickly oxidize the juice, whereas masticating juicers turn at a much lower speed and keep heat and oxidation to a minimum to preserve the nutrition and give the juice a longer shelf life.
90% praised the efficiency, but 10% didn't
The slow speed of the juicer ensures that essential nutrients are retained, resulting in a nice and tasty juice.
Masticating juicers operate at a lower speed and maintain minimal heat and oxidation to preserve nutrition and extend the juice's shelf life, which is why they are also known as 'cold press' juicers.
I included a video of the first time I used the juicer and it worked efficiently. Now, I use it up to 5 times a day.
I have rated the juicer 3.5 stars and found its efficiency to be about 65%.
87% liked how easy it is to clean
The juicer is easy to assemble and clean after juicing with easy to clean parts and a handy brush included.
I like that every part can be separated for easy cleaning after juicing.
Washing and cleaning is quite easy. The upper assembly can be removed and cleaned just by running water over it. A small brush is provided in case I need to reach hard to reach spots.
This juicer is easy to use and clean. It is suggested to use a silicone scrubber for cleaning if there is a lot of fruit or vegetables to be cleaned off.
90% liked the durability, although 10% faced issues
I found that the juicer handles harder fruits and veggies like carrots, apples and celery really well.
Washing the base of an electrical unit eventually wears it out, so it requires thorough drying before the next usage to prevent breakage.
The blade being made out of plastic is a major drawback as it makes it harder to get more juice out of the fruit. Better materials could be used for the next version.
92% appreciated the sleek design, while 8% didn't
My impression of the product is that it has great attention to detail, including suction cups on the bottom to prevent tipping over.
The juicer has a mostly heavy plastic design with a small mesh strainer near the bottom for extracting pulp.
89% found assembly straightforward
Assembling the juicer is easy and cleaning up is a breeze with its easy-to-clean parts and included handy brush.
I found the assembly process of the Ventray juicer easy with instructions provided in the form of a barcode and a drawing on the box flap.
I find the machine quiet and easy to operate, and it can process hard vegetables and fruits with ease.
