I have found that the adhesive strength of the tape is due to the porous nature of the outside of the tape, not the stickiness. This is specific to my experience with the product.
At first, the prints did not stick well, but now they stick well without any glue stick or hairspray.
The tape had too much adhesive strength and it pulled off the paint from the door trim.

I have found this tape to be more durable than others I have used in the past. It stays securely in place even when exposed to heat at 110C.
I suggest enhancing the tack of the tape by wiping it with 70% alcohol and re-applying it every 4-5 prints or rotating the location of the prints around the bed to maintain tack.
