The tape comes off of surfaces cleanly.
My experience with the masking tape is that its adhesive strength is too strong, causing it to tear when trying to peel off the previous wrap.

This masking tape is the worst I have ever used. It is so sticky that it is hard to pull it off the roll without tearing.
