About Earth Pak Waterproof Backpack 35L 55L 85L
74% appreciated its buoyant design, but 26% found it sank
The dry bag kept my stuff safe and dry while going through almost neck deep water.
Everything in my bag stayed dry, indicating good buoyancy. My wife was impressed with this feature, despite being upset.
The interior waterproofness can be annoying as water and condensation form on the inside of the pack and stay there.
74% liked the generous storage capacity
The padding is comfortable for me with loads up to 30ishlbs.
74% praised the secure closure system, but 26% experienced leaks
The closure system of this backpack is impressive. The phone case is made of the same material as the bag with a hard shell at the bottom. The closing mechanism is easy to operate and pinches the case tightly closed.
I closed the bag and everything stayed dry even when it got rained on and sat in some water at the bottom of the canoe.
The closure system of the bag is not great, but it is sufficient for most travel.
74% liked the comfortable shoulder straps, but 26% found them too thin
The padding is comfortable for loads up to 30ishlbs.
The backpack straps, along with the waist and chest strap, are really comfortable to wear.
I was extremely comfortable using the marine-dry-bag. I like that it has only one large compartment and can only be accessed by unclipping, making it easy to notice if someone tries to get in.
I use the bag to take to the beach with my family because it is so comfortable to wear.

I appreciate the added visibility provided by the reflective stripe on the back of my dry bag backpack.
I took the bag through waterfalls without any worry about camera gear, towels or phones.
