About ThinkFun Gravity Maze Marble Run Brain Game
84% appreciated the easy assembly process, but 16% found it confusing
I am able to assemble and play with it on my own without any frustration. Nothing has broken yet, indicating that the assembly process is easy to follow.
I expected the pieces to stay in place and pivot when inserted into the board, but they did not.
Sometimes the pieces do not pop easily into the game grid, which makes it difficult to accurately check the work.
83% found the components to be durable and long-lasting, but 17% experienced breakage
I did not mention anything about the durability of marble-runs.
There is a real issue where one component pops out when another is plugged in.
I have noticed that the set's construction has some form fitting issues. The pieces pop out or lift, which can be frustrating and break the circuit.
87% appreciated the challenging yet fun difficulty level
I liked the varying difficulty level of the cards, starting from easy to hard and more involved ones.
The highest level cards have proved to be challenging even for us adults.
81% liked the high-quality marbles, but 19% experienced chipping issues
The intricate design and smooth mechanics create an exhilarating experience.
Knocking the towers off the board with the marble is not a good experience.
I found the product terrible and unsuitable for my kid who loves marble runs.
I noticed that the pieces do not lock in well, which causes the marble to fall in between. This indicates poor quality of marble pieces. The marble pieces are of poor quality as they do not lock in well, causing marbles to fall in between.
74% praised the creative track design, while 26% found it too repetitive
My 6 year-old grandson loves the toy and plays with it for an hour or longer experimenting with track layouts to find one that works.
The toy is a wonderful way for me to understand direction, balance and 3d design. Working with 3d environments is an excellent challenge for my brain that helps cognitive development.
The base has rubber non-slip pads for great traction and holds motionless while snapping the game pieces in place and when the bearing is rolling through them.
The design of the marble run is finicky and not well-behaved. I also compared it with computer reality.
