About NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC Glowing Marble Run
Overall Feedback:
92% positive
86% appreciated the easy assembly process, but 14% found it confusing
The assembly process is relatively easy. I was able to assemble it with the help of the booklet and my 7-year-old son also followed the recommendation in the booklet and made it with no issues.
It's fun to assemble different tracks for the marbles to roll down and see them glow in the dark.
I quickly abandoned the toy due to frustration, indicating that the assembly process was not easy.
I struggled a lot with the assembly of the toy, which is unusual for me as I usually struggle with any toy that requires assembly.
80% found the components to be durable and long-lasting, but 20% experienced breakage
One of the base pieces broke right away when I stepped on it, indicating that the component durability of the marble runs is not up to the mark.
I had to knock off a star because I couldn't find any extra piece sets from National Geographic and now I have to find compatible pieces.
The pieces look scratched and used before.
88% liked the ability to customize the track, but 12% found it limited
I made different configurations and figured out what worked and what didn't.
There are more bases and different types of bases, making it easier for kids to build a sturdy maze.
The expansion set's tubes and pathways are too small to be compatible with the classic/original Marble Run sets.
79% liked the high-quality marbles, but 21% experienced chipping issues
I did not mention anything about the marble quality.
71% praised the creative track design, while 29% found it too repetitive
This set does not have a set "start" or "end" piece, which would be nice if we wanted to race and keep track of places.

The marble run was difficult for me to assemble without step-by-step instructions, especially for my 3-year-old who couldn't understand the complete assembled picture.
