The track design of the marble run is only compatible with the marbles that come with the set. I have a bunch of marbles from an old Chinese checkers game that are slightly smaller in diameter and they either fall through the tracks or get stuck.
The bottom-less tracks are terrible as marbles get stuck in them constantly.
