Compared to our other marble runs, this marble run is not easy to assemble.
I am dissatisfied with the assembling process of the Marble Genius rails set. It takes 5 separate pieces to make one rail piece when I can just use one normal marble run piece from another Marble Genius marble run set.
I had to rebuild and swap pieces as I started testing to make it work. But, a building savvy teen would eventually figure it out.

I found that the marble run is too complicated for younger kids to build themselves and once it is built, they quickly lose interest because there is nothing they can really do with it. Additionally, it cannot be taken apart and changed around, nor can other marble runs be connected to it due to its completely different building material types.

I had to make some changes to the design and tubes after installing it incorrectly, indicating that the difficulty level of setting up the marble run is moderate.
I find this marble run difficult to configure with all the pieces and making two good runs with the splitter is hard.
