About Bentgo Kids Chill Lunch Box Bento-Style Lunch Solution
Overall Feedback:
85% positive
74% liked the easy-to-clean design, however 26% struggled
The lunch box is very easy to clean. I put the inside portion container in the dishwasher and hand wash the bento box to keep the rubber seal from degrading.
It is easy to clean, except for the freezer tray which can be put in the dishwasher.
I find the Bentgo Chill very easy to clean and have not faced any issues with staining even when packing foods with tomato sauce or cherries.
It's relatively easy to clean, but washing it by hand can be fiddly if you're in a rush because it doesn't open flat.
70% appreciated the lightweight design, but 30% didn't
The lunch box feels heavy, despite the claim of being under 2lbs. It would be cumbersome for a preschooler to carry.
70% praised the high-quality materials
The rim is made of rubber to protect the plastic surface from drops. It's awesome.
79% praised the leak-proof compartments, yet 21% experienced leaks
The description states it is leak-proof but it leaks everywhere.
My lunch box is not leak proof and it leaked when I had Greek yogurt in it.
The lunch box is not leak proof and I have faced leaks from day one. Oranges in one compartment next to crackers or cookies turned soggy by lunch.
70% appreciated the insulation, yet 30% found it didn't last long
My lunch box only keeps the food cool/warm from 8-12.
I had to add another ice pack and use an insulated lunch pail to keep my food cool as the frozen pack did not work as expected.
Without an insulating lunch bag, the box did not keep my food cold at all.
76% appreciated the compartments
The lunch box is perfect for my toddler with 4 compartments and portion sizes for each.
The biggest compartment can fit thinly sliced apples and peeled mandarins/clementines easily.
The lunch box is very easy to clean. I put the inside portion container in the dishwasher and hand wash the bento box to keep the rubber seal from degrading.
I am concerned that the lunch box may break before I can return it, indicating potential safety issues with the material.
Rephrased:
