About BAGAIL Digital Luggage Scale
Overall Feedback:
90% positive
85% praised for its precise weight measurements, while 15% found it inconsistent
The scale is accurate enough and the weight I got matched what the airline said they got.
The accuracy is way off and not even close to the actual weight. It's not what I expected for a $10 device with a horrible AI-generated name.
I am uncertain about the accuracy of the device as it did not function long enough to verify luggage weights at the airport or hotel.
My scale has a margin of error above 2%, which is far from the claimed 0.1% at full load.
65% praised for its long battery life, but 35% found it short
The scale was shipped with a dead battery.
My previous one didn't light up and was hard to see. Additionally, the battery cover fell off whenever I used it to pick up luggage.
The on/off switch is a toggle and if accidentally pressed, the battery drains quickly and is a pain to replace.
When I lift the bag to weigh it, the LCD backlight goes dim or flickers and displays the Lo battery message.
81% liked the high weight capacity, while 19% found it limited
While traveling to our winter home in Aruba, we often exceed the 50lb limit.
I weighed a full about-50-pound suitcase five times in a row and received four different weight results within a range of 1.2 pounds (results ranged from 53.2 to 54.4 pounds).
64% liked its sleek design, but 36% found it unattractive
The display on this scale is flashy and changes from green to red when over 50 pounds. However, it fades out when viewed from an angle.
81% found it built to last, but 19% experienced durability issues
I find the metal hook mechanism on this scale more convenient and durable than plastic buckles on other scales.
So far, the scale works well and I am looking forward to seeing how it survives over time.
The previous version of the luggage scale was difficult to see and the battery cover fell off whenever I used it to pick up luggage.
Before the on/off button failed, the device seemed fine but it wouldn't turn on during the final packout and weight check.
88% found it simple to operate
Once I got the hang of it, the product was easy to use and accurate. It's a decent choice for the price.
The metal hook mechanism on our scale is more convenient and durable than plastic buckles.
The luggage scale saved me from airport hassles on multiple occasions during my trip.
85% appreciated its compact design, but 15% found it too bulky
I am looking forward to seeing how the scale survives over time and if it is robust enough to handle travel in my bag when I take a flight. Ensuring my bags are not overweight is the reason I bought it.
The previous one was not portable as it was hard to see and the battery cover fell off while picking up luggage. However, it is unclear whether the current one is portable or not as the user did not mention anything about it.
I found the luggage scale easy to use and fairly accurate compared to the weight at the airport.
