I have explained the remote controls for accelerating and braking. It takes some time to master as the rocker is not just on/off but has progressive power. A little bit of rotation gives a little bit of speed while a full rotation is much faster. The rocker is spring loaded and returns to zero point when released, allowing wheels to free roll without jarring. The brake function is available if the rocker is pulled the other way, which can be a little difficult to get used to but is useful.
