When I push the top down, it comes back up and tilts to the right, indicating a problem with the pouring flow of the decanter.
The stopper doesn't completely lock or close, causing the alcohol to evaporate over time and altering the taste of the spirit. After a few days, it will taste like beer or water with low alcohol content.
