Pouring is easy if you lift the topper before opening the spigot to allow air in, otherwise the pour is slow due to lack of air exchange between the liquid and bottle.
To get a steady stream of whiskey instead of drips, I need to take out the top piece on the decanter because the spigot is in the open position when pouring the glass.

The wood stand is not cut perfectly, causing the glass portion of the decanter to be slightly uneven.
