About Gorilla Heavy Duty Spray Adhesive
Overall Feedback:
69% positive
76% found it easy to wash out of clothes, but 24% struggled
Once the glue is cured, I can rinse it with water.
If the glue gets on my hands, it will not wash off as warned by the user.
74% liked the clear finish, however 26% noticed a slight residue
I can remove the adhesive by wiping it with a dry cloth and washing the area with soap and water while it is still wet. After curing, it can be rinsed with water.
73% were pleased with the shelf life, but 27% found it dried out
I expected the glue to last for at least a month or two, but it did not meet my expectations.
78% appreciated the quick drying time, although 22% didn't
After two days, the photo paper delaminated, indicating that the glue did not work as expected.
76% found the applicator user-friendly, however 24% experienced issues
The time window for applying the glue is narrow, so it's best to practice on scraps first. It worked great for me even with a thick-backed carpet over an edge with just about 1 of overlap.
On one of my cans, the cap/nozzle keeps coming off, but it's not a big deal.
The spray pattern of the glue is a red flag as it sprays and covers like a can of Lysol.
71% were impressed with the adhesion strength, but 29% found it lacking
I have found that the glue has the best adhesion to foam and is easy to use.
I found that the glue has great adhesion on every surface I tried.
The glue is highly adhesive and sticks to the can and nozzle piece, causing the nozzle piece to repeatedly come off.
After using a portion of the content, I noticed that the oxygen left in the bottle dries the glue. To prevent this, I suggest using Bloxygen in a can, which is an argon inert gas used for varnishes and the like to keep oxygen away and drying up content.
The dots are clear and thin, so they don't draw a lot of attention to themselves.
